PRODUCT DATA - CERAKOTETM JET BLACK V-169 “V” SERIES HIGH TEMPERATURE CERAMIC COATINGS • PENGINE COMPONENTS • THIN FILM HIGH TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS • EXHAUST SYSTEMS • CORROSIVE OR SOLVENT ENVIRONMENTS The “V” Series High Temperature Ceramic Coatings were designed for protection of metal components against high temperature heat oxidation while providing thermal insulation. “V” Series coatings maintain excellent adhesion even after repeated high temperature cycles. As higher temperatures are reached, the “V” Series ceramic compounds flux, becoming harder and more abrasion resistant. These coatings provide protection against corrosive environments and thermal shock. The “V” Series products are designed for ease of application, extreme performance, and durability in a single component, oven cure system. The “V” Series coatings have shown excellent performance in temperatures from 1200°F to 1800°F with little or no change in color. “V” Series High Temperature Ceramic Coatings are currently available in 8 “metallized” finishes: • V-119 Satin Silver • V-164 Titanium • V-165 Mag Silver • V-166 Cobra Black • V-167 Tungsten Grey • V-168 Cobalt • V-169 Jet Black • V-172 Gold These coatings have a non-polished matte or satin finish.
