This coating resists wear, lubricates, and acts as an anti-seize agent while preventing galvanic corrosion. Micro Slick DF-2 is formulated to prevent surface-to-surface contact, thus reducing friction and wear between mating surfaces. It is the exceptionally low resistance to shear, of Micro Slick DF-2, which enables surfaces to slip easily. Micro Slick DF-2 is well suited for components too large to bake. It is also suitable for field touch-ups of components and for in house applications that do not tolerate baking. Through its unique composition, Micro Slick DF-2 is virtually unaffected by temperatures up to 800ºF. While many solid film lubricants are unsuited for these temperatures, Micro Slick DF-2 still offers excellent coefficient of friction in the extremes. Micro Slick DF-2 is designed for ease of application, extreme performance, and durability in a single ambient cure formula.
